http://www.saioh.co.za/ SAIOH Congress 2015: INTO THE FUTURE WITH OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENE “Harnessing Technology to Better Practice “ Abstracts blending with the central theme INTO THE FUTURE WITH OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENE “Harnessing Technology for better practice” ae welcomed and to be submitted to conferencepapers@saioh.co.za prior to the deadline of 31 May 2015 We acknowledge the fact that due to changes in technology and the ingenuity of practitioners there may be some hidden pockets of knowledge and have made provision for these aspects under the topic “Other” Guidelines for abstract submission The abstracts must be submitted in English. First names and surnames of all authors and their affiliations must be provided Presenting author to be in bold and italics (Full names and contact details must be provided) Each abstract is limited to a maximum of 250 words (Tables, graphs and references not to be included) Authors are requested to choose a subtheme for their abstracts from one of the following:  Current research  Chemical stressors  Physical stressors  Aviation and space  Nanotechnology  Ergonomics  Psychological stressors  Management systems  Quality  Epigenetics and the Exposome  Toxicology  Other All abstracts will be reviewed and authors will be notified of the outcome by 15 June 2015 Guidelines for poster presentations Size: Posters should be no larger than an A0 poster size, a maximum of 84 cm wide and 118 cm high (portrait orientation). Mounting: Each poster will be allocated a space for mounting before or during the conference. Materials to mount posters will be provided at the poster venue. Each poster board will be marked with the author names and number of the poster as indicated in the book of abstracts. Poster Viewing: Posters will be on display during the course of the conference.
