Sujet: In the footsteps of our previous joint meeting in 2017, BSOH and BBP again joined forces to organize an event. This year, we will focus on where and how the occupational hygienist and the biosafety coordinator can collaborate. By means of practical cases, the roles of both functions and the opportunities for collaboration will be highlighted.
Due to COVID, the event will be online.

Ik vond het interessant
Ik vond het interessant hoewel een aantal zaken mijn petje te boven gingen , o.m. het verhaal over de biofilms.
Enkele opmerkingen over de desinfectie: formaldehyde carcinogeen. Formaldehyde is een threshold carcinogeen. Als er geen (chronische) irritatie is ,is er geen risico. Formaldehyde wordt in ons lichaam endogeen aangemaakt. In textielwarenhuizen "proeft" men als het ware formaldehyde, alsook in de buitenlucht als product van open haarden en houtkachels.Het systematisch vermelden van formaldehyde als carcinogeen bagatelliseert andere veel potentere carcinogenen. Ondergetekende heeft bij ANSES homerische discussies meegemaakt tussen arbeidshygiënisten en adepten van de indoor air...
Quaternaire ammoniumverbindingen: sommige ervan (zoals benzalkoniumchoride) zijn potente allergenen.Ook glutaaraldehyde en perazijnzuur zijn sterk sensibiliserend. Dit had wel vermeld mogen worden.
